Did you know it can also influence how fast you age? True story! Here are 4 rules for aging more slowly (oh yea, and you will also feel great!)
1. Eat more antioxidant foods: mostly fresh fruits and vegi’s
2. Eat more omega-3 oils: Inflammation speeds up aging, promotes heart attacks, arthritis, skin issues, and Alzheimer’s as well as reducing memory, immunity and muscle function. Omega-3′s reduce inflammation. Eat more WILD not farmed salmon,or take mercury free cod liver or fish oil (I suggest Carlson’s brand lemon flavored cod liver oil)
3. Control your blood sugar: Just eat less sugar, this topic requires volumes of reasons as to why spiking your blood sugar levels over and over is very unhealthy for your body. Also avoid white flour, white potatoes, white rice and any processed grains and especially sugary cereals.
4. Maintain a normal weight: Being overweight lends itself to so many forms of ill health and diseases. Research has proven that a restricted food diet slows many aging processes and prolongs life.
